Daddy's Home!
Hooray ! ! ! Daddy's home!
It's so good to have him back! We missed him very much. And of course, he came bearing gifts: beautiful bird of paradise flowers for mommy, a black pearl necklace for mommy, a little Hawaiian dolly for Sally, a stuffed dolphin for Sally, a book for Sally, and a Wyland Monopoly game for all of us. But mostly we're just glad to have Daddy back home :-)
Today we ran a few errands, went out to lunch, interviewed a pediatrician here in Castle Rock (who we liked very much), and then we all came home -- I slept about 3 hours, daddy slept about 5 hours and Sally is still sleeping (it's nearly 10pm and she's been asleep since 3PM). So we didn't do much of anythign today!
But that's OK because there's lots more to come this weekend...tomorrow there is an Oktoberfest in downtown Castle Rock, sounds like it's a lot more than just a biergarten, lots for the kids to do (including pony rides!) and we have a Marriage Encounter circle meeting tomorrow night, then Sunday after church we have some errands to run adn then Andy adn I are assisting at Landmark Sunday night (provided we can find a sitter).
So all is well in teh Grant household. :-) and baby is kicking all the while...
