Let There Be Light (Christmas Lights, Of Course)
Well, our Christmas lights were hung today -- hooray! I must say, they look magnificent. Maybe I can get Andy to post a photo here...that would be nice, so you can see them looking all sparkly and spectacular.
No Christmas tree yet, though...maybe I'll be ready to tackle that next week.
It's been a very mild winter so far (fine by me), with very little snow. We are all looking forward to another play day in the snow, but I'm sure we'll get plenty enough of that in the new year (February and March are our snowiest months) so I should probably count my blessings now.
Hanukkah is sort of early this year -- December 4 -- and I saw an adorable idea for a hand crafted menorah, so we may try that out this year. If I'm feeling adventurous.
After spending a week and a half with Francois and Kelly (and baby cakes), I was inspired to start cooking again, so I've been cooking up a storm over the past few days. Yum yum! and the house smells delicious...
