Christmas in Colorado

We are looking forward to a relaxing Christmas in Colorado this year.

This is our 3rd Christmas in Colorado actually, but we flew back to New Orleans for Christmas the first year we lived here. Then, last year, Sydney entered the scene just less than a month before Christmas, so it was definitely not a "normal" Christmas for us.

This year, we have no family visiting, noplace to go, adn we're planning a quiet day with the kids and some friends down the street.

This weekend was a bit hectic -- Sally went to Dayne's birthday party on Friday late afternoon and Andy and I dashed out for a nice dinner with Sydney.

Yesterday we had a Christmas Brunch after church and we got a sitter so we could go to a movie (National Treasure II) which was quite nice. Today is about laid-back, last-minute errands and preparing for tomorrow's Christmas feast.

Our friends Meg and Will are coming over (and MEg's dad, who's visiting from out of town) in teh afternoon to eat, play games and hang out, so it should be a wonderful day.
