Sydney is delighting us...

We are delighting in Sydney's brief yet frequent sentences. Some examples:

I love you too
Good morning Sunshine
Kitty! Snack! (when feeding treats to our kitties)
Sally! No!

Sydney is very excited about her Halloween costume -- a fluffy puppy dog! She loves to imitate puppies, and calls doggies "gogie"

Sally is going to be SuperGirl for Halloween (looks a lot like the SuperMan costume, but with a skirt instead of tights, and red go-go boots). It seemed fitting, since she absolutely loves superheroes of all kinds, and even though Mommy is partial to Wonder Woman, the SuperGirl costume is MUCH cuter, plus it has the added bonus of the big "S" for Sally on her chest.

And Sally is really getting into phonics, which is awesome -- everywhere we look (and most everything we say) she's identifying letters and sounds. I suspect she'll be reading before entering kindergarten (just like her mom and dad did!)
