Busy Busy Week, Lots of Holiday Fun
This has been a busy week! Nana left town on Wednesday and we were sad to see her go -- it was truly a delightful visit.
Wednesday late afternoon, we took the girls to see Santa and have their photos taken, which went great overall except that Sydney refused to smile except when Santa was giving her extra attention. Hmmmmm.
Sally resumed swim lessons this week and was a ROCK STAR in the pool. She is really doing outstanding work and we are moving her up to the next level ("Clownfish") next session (January).
Mommy's been working a lot, making up for the time she took off while Nana was visiting.
Amy's high school chum Lauren is in town for the weekend -- Lauren is a color consultant and Amy has hired her for a complete image makeover! So that's some exciting news
But some sad news has come as well:
We just found out our nephew Wesley is very sick -- bacterial meningitis -- and will be hospitalized for 10-14 days. So that means the Evans family is NOT coming to visit us as planned next weekend (Sally is disappointed, but also very concerned about Wesley's health and safety). We are holding Wes in the highest light during this challenging time and praying for a speedy recovery.
More to come on that...
