Poppy's on Crutches!

I talked to Nana today and Poppy, aka "The Monkey" (that's what I call him) took a spill yesterday and is now on crutches. Apparently Norman had a pair to loan him, but they were way too tall, so they had to do a little surgery (on the crutches, not on Poppy) to shorten the crutches so he can hobble around.

Meanwhile, at Casa del Grant, Sally has asked me if we can please learn about orcas. You betcha! So that's today's after-school project. We have been watching a lot of Food Network lately, Sally definitely has her favorites (including Paula Deen and Bobby Flay) and her not-so-favorites (Rachel Ray tops that list) and is expanding her palate as Daddy and I expand our culinary reach in the kitchen.

All is well -- Andy is being interviewed for a magazine and we have a family photo shoot for the mag later today. Hopefully the wind will let up long enough for it to be outdoors!
