We're back in town now

Our trip to Hawaii was absolutely amazing! Everything was so beautiful, and it was nice to have a break from the kids. And the conference -- where to begin? Absolutely extraordinary.

The kids fared well, they LOVED hanging out with Meg & Will and it sounds like everything went smoothly, except for Wednesday afternoon which was rough because Syd wouldn't take a nap.

But it happens.

What a relief to know we have such wonderful neighbors!

Since we know we have a few more trips scheduled this year, I am going to get crackin' right now on lining up responsible, trustworthy sitters!

(and still no sign of that $20 gas advance from the fired sitter. In case you were wondering. We did get a few voicemails from her mother so maybe I will call her to collect....)

I'll bet Sally is having a blast at her camp field trip to Chuck E Cheese today!
